Since last week, the issuance of a visa is no longer required for Peruvian nationals travelling to the United Kingdom (and viceversa) for short-stay visits that last up to six months. This applies to trips for tourism, business trips, international events, short-term studies and medical treatment for Peruvian citizens who need to enter the United Kingdom and for British citizens who wish to enter Peru.
The bilateral relationship between both countries promotes the development and opportunities for joint collaboration as strategic and reliable partners for over 200 years.
Please note that long-term visas will remain in force for those people who need to travel for work purposes, to carry out long-term studies or to settle permanently in the United Kingdom.
